Since 2018, the Paediatric Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH) Workshop has been held annually before the EAS Congress. It offers a cutting-edge scientific programme to educate paediatricians and healthcare professionals on diagnosing and managing children with inherited lipid disorders. The workshop promotes case discussions, patient involvement, and networking, attracting over 130 attendees from 30+ countries in 2025.

FH is a common genetic disorder characterised by lifelong elevated LDL cholesterol levels, leading to a significantly increased risk of premature atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD).
