What is new in the updated ESC/EAS Dyslipidaemia Guidelines?

Since the publication of the 2019 ESC/EAS Guidelines on the management of dyslipidaemias: lipid modification to reduce cardiovascular risk, several randomized controlled trials have provided important new evidence.

Focused Update ≠ New Guidelines

The 2025 Focused Update highlights key changes in recommendations for the treatment of dyslipidaemias based on new evidence published up to 31 March 2025. All major randomized controlled clinical trials and meta-analyses published since the 2019 Guidelines were reviewed and discussed in detail, leading to a consensus on updates to classes of recommendations where appropriate.

Learning objectives

The Lipid Clinic Network local webinars on the Focused Update are tailor-made sessions designed to support national dissemination of the new guidance, enable adaptation to local clinical priorities, and strengthen engagement between international experts and national networks.

Each webinar is developed in collaboration with local experts to reflect country-specific perspectives, practices, and challenges, ensuring that the new ESC/EAS recommendations are translated into meaningful, practical insights for clinical implementation.

Join your national webinar to learn how the changes in the Focused Update are being applied in your country — and how they can support you in optimizing patient care.

Upcoming webinars

Below you can find the local webinars planned for 2025 and 2026. Don’t miss the opportunity to register for these tailor-made and insightful sessions designed to bring the updated guidance closer to clinical practice.
