Educational activities for EAS members are central to EAS’ mission – to exchange knowledge on the natural history, causes, treatment and prevention of atherosclerosis-related disease.
We also believe that it is important to work together with members of related learned and professional societies – to share and exchange knowledge with a wider audience. EAS collaborates with other European and International organizations, in activities including joint sessions at partner society congresses, and collaborative scientific papers.
EAS have current ongoing collaborations with the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS), European Federation of Laboratory Medicine (EFLM), European Society of Vascular Medicine (ESVM), International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) and National Lipid Association (NLA).
EAS is a member of The Alliance for Biomedical Research in Europe (Biomed Alliance), and full members of the World Heart Federation (WHF).
EAS has recently become partner of the European Alliance for Cardiovascular Health (EACH).
EAS has a partnership with FH Europe Foundation, patient organisation.
EAS has formed a media partnership with touchCARDIO.
