Certificate in Lipidology for Nurses and Healthcare Professionals is now available!

Certificate in Lipidology for Nurses and Healthcare Professionals is now available! We designed this course in response to the challenges faced by nurses and healthcare professionals in lipid clinics, addressing various aspects of atherosclerotic vascular disease in their day-to-day practice.

This programme will help you tackle these challenges, to better identify, help and support those in your care who are at high cardiovascular risk. By increasing your understanding of lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk evaluation, and by improving your skills in providing advice and support to patients on questions of lifestyle and adherence to therapy, taking this course will help you manage your patients and contribute to your clinic’s ability to provide patient-centred care.

The course includes practical tips and advice on management of patients with atherosclerotic vascular disease and inherited lipid disorders, with contributions from clinical practitioners and research experts, from nurses, and from patients themselves.
