Remit
- Financial review
Ensure audit recommendations are effectively implemented after external audits. - Compliance monitoring
Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, including data protection and conflict of interest policies.
Regularly update policies and investigate compliance breaches. - Risk management
Develop mitigation strategies for potential risks.
Adjust strategies to address emerging risks. - Governance and ethics
Monitor adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Address complaints and manage conflicts of interest. - Sustainability
Integrate sustainability practices and review implementation of EU sustainability directives.
Ensure gender balance and diversity within EAS committees.
