Appointment and responsibilities of the Young Fellows Programme Scientific Directors
The Young Fellows Programme Directors are responsible for overseeing and guiding the European Atherosclerosis Society’s (EAS) Young Fellows Programme. - Programme design and development

- Plan and organise workshops, lectures, and interactive sessions led by distinguished experts in the field.
- Ensure the programme includes diverse topics relevant to research and clinical practice in cardiovascular science.
- Mentorship and networking
- Facilitate mentorship opportunities by connecting Young Fellows with established professionals in the field.
- Encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants to build a strong professional network.
- Programme coordination
- Oversee the selection process for programme participants to ensure inclusivity and fairness.
- Promoting visibility and engagement
- Advocate for the Young Fellows Programme through various communication channels to increase awareness and participation.

Appointment of committee members
