Young Investigator Fellowships 2024

EAS Congress programme provides younger, upcoming researchers a prestigious platform from which to launch or progress their international careers.

As a measure of the Society’s commitment to encourage the leading lights of the future, EAS offers Young Investigator Fellowships to selected abstract and oral communication presenters aged 35 or under, on a competitive basis.

Young Investigator Fellowships include:

  • Complimentary Congress registration
  • Complimentary 1-year EAS membership subscription
  • A grant of 400 € towards travel & accommodation at the EAS 2024 Congress

Travel Grants to EAS Congress 2024

These grants are awarded to selected presenters of poster or oral communications who live and work in countries where funding for international meetings is difficult to obtain.

The travel grants 2024 cover:

  • Complimentary Congress registration
  • Complimentary 1-year EAS membership subscription
  • A grant of 400 € towards travel & accommodation at the EAS 2024 Congress

The Grants are awarded at the discretion of the organisers.

EAS Collaborations:

EAS President-Elect Børge G. Nordestgaard delivered the 2023 Akira Yamamoto plenary lecture on “Remnant cholesterol”

EAS is proud to have co-sponsored sessions with the Asian-Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease (APSAVD) at their 16th Congress in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia (September 8-9th, 2023).

APSAVD gathers scientists and clinicians interested in atherosclerosis prevention from Japan in the north of the region through South-East Asia in the middle, to Australia and New Zealand in the south of the region.

EAS President-Elect Børge G. Nordestgaard delivered the 2023 Akira Yamamoto plenary lecture on “Remnant cholesterol”. Professor Akira Yamamoto from Osaka in Japan was the first physician to administer a statin to a patient with familial hypercholesterolemia.

Expressing gratitude for your involvement and contributions throughout FH Week 2023
