Remit

The EAS Congress Committee plans, organises, and executes the annual congress, ensuring it aligns with EAS standards.

• General oversight
  Ensure alignment with EAS standards, guide the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC), evaluate bids, and liaise with the Local Organising Committee (LOC).
  
• Scientific programme
  Develop the programme with SPC chairs, oversee abstract reviews, speaker selection, and Science at a Glance (SaaGs) sessions.
  
• Logistics & finance
  Manage logistics, budgets, sponsorships, site visits, and final accounts in collaboration with the PCO.
  

• The Executive Committee appoint the chair and members of the committee.
• The EAS aims for a balanced representation of gender, expertise, and geographical regions.
