Prof. Lina Badimon scientific interest focusses on atherosclerosis, ischemic heart diseases, cardio-metabolic diseases and thrombosis. She has published over 660 articles in highly qualified scientific journals with her work highly quoted (H-index: 95. Number of citations: 83,772. ORCID number: 0000-0002-9162-2459). She has written more of 250 reviews and book chapters. She is Member of Editorial Boards of international scientific journals and Member of Scientific Advisory Boards of International Research Institutions and Funding Agencies. Her previous appointments include Director of the Cardiology Research -Division of Cardiology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York (1983‐1991); Lecturer in Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Boston (1991‐1994); Consultant at the Cardiac Unit-Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston (1991‐1994).
