Tackling barriers to lipid-lowering therapy in cardiovascular prevention

One of the major challenges in cardiovascular prevention is the long-term adherence to lipid-lowering therapy. Its effectiveness depends on personalizing treatment, overcoming barriers to treatment adoption, and implementing best practices in healthcare services. However, cultural differences and the uniqueness of various healthcare systems can make it difficult to apply the same strategies universally.

This symposium will offer a global overview of the varying effectiveness of lipid-lowering therapy, with a focus on best practices implemented in both Europe and Latin America.

The presentations will be led by respected experts from the European Atherosclerosis Society and the EAS-LATAM group.

Spanish subtitles will be available for all sessions, as in past events.
